    This guy lived to see another day... Oh yeah all caught on Bone yard Jigs. Bait picked up no Lings and 3 halibuts. The jigs did it's job on this day...

    how deep do you guys normally fish for lings?

    Default Here are mine from this weekend....

    Nailed two of them on my first two drifts.....


    Both at 90ft, 16 oz. jig w/Gulp & baited herring jigging with my with my Baitcasting rod I use for trolling silvers.

    got mine in about 130ft. with a 24oz jig and an 11" bone yard bait tail

    Your little guy on your right looks like he is having second thoughts about being in the boat with that ling. Nice fish.

    Default He'll have nightmares for awhile....

    When I threw him in the boat, he was still flopping. Aaron (3yr) was stuck in the corner....screaming his head off....Quite funny, but probably not to a 3 yr old. He stayed in the cabin when the second one came up.

    Got Yelloweyes too!!!!

    I might see you out there tomorrow. Planning to run out to Knight, possible towards Montague. Need some halibut, and a few lings wouldn't hurt either!
