I know there have been many discussions on the validity and the means by which the fish are counted. This is not one of them. I think it is a terrific means of informing the folks where the fish are and when - when they get posted - which is my beef. Being that I am in North Pole, my local fishing areas are the Chena and the Salcha. These rivers don't get their fish counts posted in a timely manner. I noticed this last year as well. Currently the last days posted are 6 July and 7 July - 4 and 5 days behind. I know they have folks out there counting the fish. Any idea why these two rivers would be so far behind? The Deshka is current as of the 10 - very reasonable to me. Any ideas as to why these river are constantly slow in getting thier counts posted? Thanks.
