Aaahh! Caterpillars snacking on my Dill.
Yuk!! I went out to look at my herb pots after the July 4th weekend and found my dill was being attacked. Small (about 1cm long, and a couple of millimmeters wide), mostly white caterpillars with webs munching on the flowers and fronds. Not single webs like the spruce bud worm... but webs strung along their path between the different branches of the plant.
The dill is in a basket packed with other herbs (lemon basil, thyme and sage) and none of them seem effected.
I would have thought dill was mostly resistant to bugs. Silly me.
Anyone seen these or know what they are??
