Default Some people shouldn't use power tools!

I saw a Remington 700 today at great northern guns in 375 Ultra that somebody did a home cut down and muzle break on. Looks like they used a hack saw and a hand drill on it, no crown, not even a straight cut and random holes drilled into the end of the barrel as a "muzzle brake". With no crown I bet it shoots great. Just makes me think "what was somebody thinking?"

Bet it was shot 5 times ---then the hack job --3 more times and traded off for less recoil.---lol
For the right price it would be a great wildcat project--just need to rebarrel
    How much were they asking???

    Default Rough 375 700 UM

Nice posts - being that the silver Leupold VX-III 2.5-8x on it is easily worth $300, a SS Reminton 700 magnum UM action is gets $300-350 and gun and scope sold for $550-do the math- the barrel, stock, rings and bases were free - and a recrown job is only $25.
