    Exclamation grewingk tram closed!!!

    just got this today. due to increasing difficulty of operation tram is closed until further notice.

    Wow, I am surprised. They must have received some complaints. I found the crossing somewhat challenging but nothing super extraordinary that would warrant closure.

    Maybe they will put in a bridge!!

    I've only seen pictures of the final installation, so I have to ask... is the main line a steel cable? In one picture I saw, it had a LOT of sag in it to where it almost looked like it was a fiber rope. In any case, it looked like they needed to beef up the anchors and take up some slack. The tighter the main line, the easier the operation will be.

    there is a plan to build a bridge just downstream of the current tram location.
    not sure when, funding is always the big issue.
