    Been having some fun with the new macro lens ...

    Toughest part was dealing with the wind/slow shutter speeds.

    So far so good.

    Very nice photos! Good focus in all of them.

    Keep in mind that you can kick the ISO a little higher, and then switch the camera to Av. Then open the lens as wide as it goes for a test shot. However, see if you can find your macro's "sweet spot" with the camera on Av mode. It could be anywhere from wide open to f/8 or so. With the camera on Av, you control the lens aperture, and the camera provides a matching shutter speed.
