    Default Where to fish chums

Looking for some places to target chums in the anchorage/matsu/kenai penn area. Heard the parks highway steams and the tailrace. Where else? Not gonna keep any, just heard there are one hell of a hard fighting fish and I'm just looking for a tussle. Thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure I've seen chums in Byers Creek, but this was several years ago. I'm ready to hook up on a couple too. For kicks and grins.

    Default Montana Creek

usually has a great run of chum. They are a blast to catch but can be bothersome if you are targeting silvers at the time. VERY aggressive.

The Montana creek chums will also show up in about a week.

Montana Creek is going to be some fun with Silvers, Chums and Pinks all in there.

Bird creek has a fair return and I always manage to catch a chum or two upstream in Ship creek during low tide

Never heard/seen anyone take a chum out of Hope. Do they run later than or at the same time as the pinks down there?

ok there is a chance that I mis-spoke...I am pretty sure that is where we were......

It was over 10 years ago and we were down the hope cut off road...the river was on the right side of the road...those details I know for sure...I just assumed it was Resurrection Creek....

Take a look at the water in the back ground...anyone who knows that area will be able to confirm for me....I only go down there once every few years...

    Default chum

Will they still be in the "big Hole" by wednesday or thursday? I've never been to Hope. Is it worth stopping in for? Not looking to keep any just catch them for fun.
