    In everyones opinion what would be the best 1 to 3 man hunting boat/motor to do rivers, bays, and lakes??

    For Alaska....Jet boat...probably a 19' to21' Duckworth.

    my jet boat is darn good , 13 footer
    runs in 1-2 inches of water 175hp merc sport jet
    tops at 50 cruise , 25-27mph
    payload 1600#

    Default It all depends-

    "Different boats for different floats". It depends on what you're doing. If it's a road-based situation yeah, go with a hard-hulled boat like the one Nimrod mentioned. But if you're flying out at all, you might look at an 18' cataraft with an outboard setup. Fits in the airplane and you can trailer it too!

    Best of both worlds.

    The Zodiac-style sportboats have their place too, but they would not work on many of our rivers.

    There is no such thing as a boat that will do it all. Yet.
