    Default Sitka fishing any good?

Anyone doing any good out of Sitka right now? Things have been slow from what I've heard. We'll be fishing around Biorka Island tomorrow and see if we can't scratch up some kings and halibut.

Your going to have to go pretty far for Halibut. Out to the cape at least. Hope you have good weather.

    Default Sitka Fishing

The fishing was pretty slow for us. We fished June 15. We did catch a 100 plus hali and a 55, but, the rest was pretty slow.

Nothing real big on the Salmon front. The one king limit stinks. Hardly makes it worth the trip to Sitka.

the rocks (viskari) has been producing at tide change and the cape is also being consistent. Biorka is slooooooooooooooow atleast for us.

Well we fished biorka the last 2 days and ended up with 2 kings the first day and one the second. We also caught some halibut with one being 100lbs. Not great but can't complain, the weather has been great. We'll be fishing Wednesday and Thursday, might have to try the rockpile or the cape, thanks for the info
