    Default Fish Finder problem

My fish finder works great when trolling but when I speed up my 50 Yamaha, the fish finder shuts down on "high battery"........any simple solutions?

    Thanks

My Garmin did the same thing.

Since my outboard motor's battery was low, there was too much voltage being generated by the alternator to re-charge the battery and the fish finder shut down to prevent damage. Once the battery was charged, the fish finder worked just fine at high or low engine rpm's.
