    Default Clear Creek trout

We're headed out to Clear Creek this weekend and I don't feel much like battling folks for kings. Is the trout fishing good on Clear Creek and what should I use as far as flies or beads? I have a little bit of everything (sculpins, beads, dries, leaches, Wooley Buggers, etc.). Thanks for your help.

    Default My experience...

has been it depends on the water clarity. You can sight fish on rare days with sunshine, clear water and a little elevation, but usually the water's slightly turbid.

Sounds like you'll be well-geared up; that's a great fly selection. i like long leech patterns. Are they weighted flies? If I was going to add anything it might be an articulated leech. Have a good trip!
