It took me 18 hours of non stop fishing to finally hook into a king. And the weather was terrible. Talk about miserable, until that king was on, then it was all worth it. My hands still shake when I catch a king. I love the anticipation to see how big it is.

i was there friday night as well. i thought it was kinda strange watching the kings roll all the way up until midnight then "POOF" they were gone. i saw two jacks caught all weekend sunday morning i didnt fish but my neighbor camper came strolling up around 9:30 or so back to camp with a nice 30#er or so. i fished the river right outside my rv and caught a nice 18" brook trout. a couple hours later i thought id try it again and either i caught the same one again or his brother but it was nice to catch something.

That would be a rainbow trout is my guess.

We dont have brook trout up here.

We do have dolly Varden though but they would be be silver with white dots.

    This is a dolly.

ive been looking for one ever since thinice posted...i really dont think it was a bow im thinking it was more of a cutthroat (from what im reading). i have one lame pic of it at home. i was too busy trying to release it to think about pics. it was gold with black dots, either he was or they were.

Here are a couple of gold-colored rainbows that I caught within the past two weeks. Did it look like either of these?

ok the only pic we got was from too far away you cant tell anything. Brian...it looked like the first one only not sooo many spots and it didnt have any red color to it just gold. it must have been a bow during pms phase or something, great fighter though.
