Default Egg Color Suggestions

Having trouble narrowing down the color's I'll need for a trip in late july. Trying to pick between 5-10. Any suggestions would be welcome. We'll be floating somewhere in the sustina drainage. Probably the tal or lake creek.

Early Girl
Iliamna Pink
Late Pink
Ripple
Watermelon
Dark Orange
Steelhead Orange

Then again, you could just buy a Bead Box made for just such an occasion.

Default And then there's size...

Are you tying GloBugs or shopping for beads?

6 and 8mm beads seemed best when I used them for Fall Trout.

GloBugs for Dollies and Steelhead though - doesn't seem to matter much.

Here's pic from last Fall - September on the Kenai. Hope the colors come out well.

Good luck!

Thumbs up sample 2

here is the 2nd set. bead sizes are 6, 8, and 10's and all colors and sizes. At .09 a piece at the warehouse I want alot of everything. As the wife said it is all about choice. As you can see we feel that way about our leech's flesh patterns and so on. I have also added an additional box this year. Im gonna need another boat to haul my beads and flys.

Default more info

These are beads that the wife and I use on the Kenai. They treat us very well there and I would imagine they would work elsewhere. Hope this helps you out

#33, 34,35, (late this and thats), #38 (mcroe) and #9 (white). Caught my lifetime biggest rainbow on white (31.5") on that color at that time of year. site fished it -took the egg from 3 feet away.
