    Default Scope mounts

Anyone have an idea what the best scope mounts would be for my 375 Ruger? The gun comes with Ruger scope mounts, but I want "the best" so to speak unless Ruger is that.

Also, what setting did you use for the Ruger 375 (if you have one)--medium or high?

The built in bases on the Ruger are the only way to go.

But you could go with Warne QD's and still have good use of your iron sights.

The ruger mounting system is outstanding, no real need to change it.

Warne and Talley do make detachable rings that fit the Ruger recievers even better than the Ruger rings and there are detachable levers available from Brownell's for the Ruger factory rings. All are very secure mounts but for R2Z the Warne or Talley are the best.

    Nice McSwirley there Cub.
Is there nothing so sacred on this earth that you aren't willing to kill or die for?

Great choice for rings. I use them myself. But he asked about mounts for the Ruger so I assummed he meant the mounts on the receiver, not the rings.
