    Question Fishing Kenai Peninsula

Hi all!! In 10 days i'm heading to Homer, AK to fish for a week. I plan on fishing the Anchor River but im a noob at salmon fishing. I fish tuna a lot in SoCal but i have no idea what to use for salmon. I have heard that plunking and spinners work well but im not sure. Can anyone help me out? If possible please include pics of rigs.

    Thanks, gman444

    Question It depends

It all depends on what system your fishing. A few more details (aka the kenai, the russian, kasilof) would help us out alot here. Methods are a little different on each river. Plus are you in a boat or on the shore, just stuff like that.

    Default Anchor River Kings

Fishing's been good, twice out, two beautiful kings, one hen and one buck. On June 9th, I picked up a 35lber that took me nearly 1000 yards down the river and almost completely spooled me. And another on my birthday, took ten minutes to land. Both on a 9wt fly rod. The most exciting and best way to fish the Anchor is on a fly rod.

I don't know how to upload these pics so check out the link to my gallery.
