Thumbs up The Best Sandwich... Ever!

    A "free" recipe for ya...

Take some Indian Valley (or similar) polish reindeer sausages (dogs) and slice them lengthwise into about 1/8" thick slabs. Toss these into your skillet with a bit of olive oil and fry them up. A bacon press will help to keep them flat as they tend to curl after the first flip.

Now fry up an egg for each sandwich, keeping it about the size of the sandwich. You can either break the yolk to get a solid egg or try it "over medium" for a twist (more on this later).

Take your favorite sandwich bread, I like to use a multi-grain variety, toast and butter it. Alternativety, you can butter and grill it (best option). Slap some mayo on there when it's done.

Now, put your sandwich together with a couple slabs of reindeer sausage on the bottom bread, then some leaf lettuce, sliced tomato, (more reindeer sausage, if you like ) and top the pile off with the egg. Cap it with the other half of your bread and dig in.

Note, if you went with the "runny yolks" version, break the yolk after the sandwich is together so it runs down into the sandwich. It's simply awsome.

It's a RELT (Reindeer, Egg, Lettuce, & Tomato)

    Default No Cheese?

If it doesn't contain meat and cheese it's just a snack

    Red face Holy Cow Milk!

Good catch. Man, I must'a been tired when I posted that last night. I was trying to recreate it from memory, so please forgive the exclusion. I forgot to mention the slab of cheese melted onto the top slice of bread (I liked it best with Colby-Jack, but Cheddar or Pepper Jack work also, just as long as it's Tillamook).

sounds good but not as good as a pepper jack bacon burger!

    recipe

    1 lb. bacon
    4 slices peper jack cheese
    4 eggs
    1 bun

take the pound of bacon remove 4 slices cook these slices.
take rest of the bacon grind it up in a blender or a grinder if you have one
make a patty from the ground bacon and fry it till done
place two slices cheese on patty then four slices of bacon then two slices of cheese
place this on a grilled bun
beat 4 eggs in bowl dip your burger in egg
now deep fry this is the left over bacon grease and enjoy!

I would suggest a tall glass of water to go with this or my personal favorite some mellow yellow mmmm

    Default WOW!

Now that sounds like a sandwich. I never thought of grinding the bacon up then cooking it. Good idea.

Also sounds like a visit to the E.R. and several months of rehab. (post-heart surgery of course)

You've got to be kidding. All that cholesterol, salt, and fat. A pound of bacon, 4-eggs, cheese, and plenty of grease. You forgot to add the Lipitor chaser.
