Default Mr. Grizz and his friend

Caught these 2 guys down at Bird Creek today. Almost was by them before I noticed them. Wish I had had more than my point and shoot!

I'll tell you a little story on myself. I rode out there early this morning and came back to town to eat some lunch and run some errands. I then got back out there for some more riding. About 3 quarters of a mile down the trail I realized I had forgotten my sunglasses. Spun it around and went back to the truck. Once I got to the truck I realized my glasses were on my cap!! Had this not happened I don't think I would have seen the critters. It's all about the timing...

Where they on the up-hill side of the slide? I am also wondering if something might have got caught in that slide? Pretty unusual for those two predators to be in such close proximity I would think? I have seen tons of bear sign down there over the years but never actually seen one. Did see a big coyote crossing the trail one day on the way to the overlook, about ½ mile past the mustang. I have gone down to the falls a few times after the pinks start filling the pool up and the place was just full of bear sign and tracks everywhere but didn’t see any.

Nice picture, and thanks for sharing.

If you had a gun, you would have never seen them LOL. At least that’s how it goes for me.

    Very cool pic.
