    Default Shrimping for beginners

I'm shrimping for the first time. Can someone please let me know about these things? Do I need to take the heads off right away? Should I store them in water or ice?
I'm so excited to be going out for Halibut and shrimping!! Last year was my first for catching fish and we only went for silvers. This is definitly going to be a great time.

I take the heads off right away and then put them in a zip lock bag over ice.

Thanks guys! I've been searching around on the threads. It's pretty extensive here. Which is a good thing. Still can't wait to catch those yummy shrimps.

Dump'em in a bucket/tote of saltwater & they will purge/puke themselves clean, change the water a couple of times, then rip the heads off, put'em in bags and bury in ice. I keep them this way for a week at a time on the boat.
