You would think something as fun as shooting trash fish would be banned by the poly-tick-shuns. They must not have been eating their Cherri-o's that day?

More than likely they're looking into licensing or a way to tax it.....

Heh it's hard for me to comprehend pike as trash fish. I must feel like people from WAY down south when I say catfish are trash fish.

I'm not taking a poke at you for not liking them. I do understand there are some good reasons they are unpopular in certain area's of Alaska. As they say, to each their own.

    Default pike

I can't see the photo...did admins take it down? On a side note.... pike is really good eating, in the boundary waters canoe area in norther minnesots that was our second choice of fish to eat (once you got around the bones) .....as long as the walleye weren't hitting. I can see why people consider them trash fish up here though!

Now that is just plain cool! We use to shoot carp near my home growing up in Indiana. I bet Pike would be a hoot!

Mods changed the link to be embedded.....couple of questions now.....Is there a way to make the size of the vid larger once it is embedded in the thread....also you can choose the "watch in high quality" option if you click the link and goto YouTube instead of watching it in the thread and the vid looks much better....not sure if I like the embedding option...lol
