    Default fairbanks/fox area

I'm heading up there this weekend. Any good suggestions on what's good?
How's the Chena looking? was thinking of exploring the upper forks.

What's good in Fox? Try the chocolate stout cake at Silver Gulch Brewery.

From the looks of the stream flow data, river is low and slow. Fishing should still be good. I don't think its ever bad on the Upper Chena.

Cool, thanks for the cake update, too!
I imagine i'll be catching grayling mostly up there.

The upper Chena is exclusively grayling/whitefish. But I would say 99.9% grayling. I did see some burbot up there once....it was really strange to see them in shallow water like that. I've been up there many times since and never seen one again...

Another alternative might be the chatanika...esp if you set it up so that you can float between the bridges or just to a spot on the road.
