    Default reds

In about a month, the reds will be in Main and long bay---4th of July is prime time for them. Right now the chums are in Esther Island hatchery.

I was in Esther Lake Bay yesterday, June 3. The comercial guys had an opener which closes today. No jumpers, but the nets were all coming in with lots of fish.
The hatchery called us on the radio and let us know they just released 76,500,000 fry into the bay and asked that we all drive slow through the bay.
I expect that starting Thursday the bay will have jumpers everywhere.
