Seward was 469 before the recent 10 cent jump here in town. I suppose it is really close to 5 bucks a gallon now.

it's easier to recieve forgiveness then permission. So lets do it. You think my ice auger can get down far enough to reach the oil?

I have a few extentions. Will you start a gas war by selling it for $0.25 a gallon

    I got a client who's a directional driller:

Does that mean he'll tell us which direction to go???

    Default Loving it

Not sure about you guys but I am loving the high gas prices. For one my boat is good on gas. Two, the docks are a lot less crowded and lot let hunting pressure from what I have seen. Which mean more bears for us to kill. Other than that the prices are starting to suck though.

It already has reached that point for some. I am starting to like that open seat idea, but wonder what the liability is....

Uh, sure. Back in 1859, instead of drilling the first oil well, they should have introduced the first solar panel or windmill. What in the world were they thinking (tongue firmly implanted in cheek)?

    Yeah.

We could still be in a horse or camel drawn economy like Afghanistan.

We'd be in great shape then, huh?.........

Default Those bast*rds from the petroleum industry really did it when...

they drove our forefathers out of the coach and whip business! Now all of those "good" jobs went to china!

Like your keyboard? Gotta have plastics from petroleum.
Is this forum giving you a headache? Take an aspirin! Oh...wait...that's a petroleum byproduct, too...
Wanna tote your carbon fiber rifle through the woods...hmm, better have some petro-products.

We are a nation that, LIKE IT OR NOT, fuels it's economy on OIL. If you even want to entertain the THOUGHT of "energy independence" or "green energy" it will happen on the back of dead dinosaurs...oil, my friend, is your friend, too!

Still looking for ice auger extensions...

I've noticed the price of oil has dropped about $10/bbl in the last 2 weeks. Looks like the market might have made a slight correction. I doubt this will make it to the gas pump though.
