    Default Float hunting

Can anyone recommend a good river to float hunt solo. I'd like to do some fishing, bear viewing/hunting along the way...and I want to be remote, so I'm thinking a fly-in drop off. I'm looking at the last week in June, which I know is not the best time for bears, but it's the only week I have available. Thanks for any recommendations.

I highly recommend ordering Strahan's book - Float Hunting Alaska's Wild Rivers There are other good books out there as well, but this one gives painstaking detail on 50 rivers including game availability, maps, hazards, etc. Well worth the read!

The book is a must for any float hunter and then some. Very well written and informative.
