Default Full Body Dall Sheep Mount

Anyone have one? If you do, could you measure the distance from the top of the back to the bottom of the chest, directly behind the fore leg?

I am practicing with the bow for a hunt and want to make sure that the targets I am using are "life" size. That way, if I can't get the range finder on him fast enough, at least I can make an educated guess.

Dave, dont know if this will help you much, but the measurment of my Bighorn shoulder mount, from top of shoulder to to bottom of chest is 20" and he was a big one.

Hope someone can get you the Dall measurments.

    Default Humm

That would make them comparable to upstate New York deer. Which dressed out are in the 190-200 pound range.

    Thanks

Give a taxidermist a call or a bio for fish and game. They should be able to give you wnat you need.

You could look on Van Dyke's here http://www.vandykestaxidermy.com/product/01001750/ for a life size Dall mount, there is a link on how to mesure.

It is a dedication thing for the first arrow to be the only one required.
