Cast cocktail shrimp under a bobber off the dock or shore on Little Campbell Lake. Reel in your catch. Repeat.

    Default Mepps Spinners...

"Match the Hatch" work really well, as do Rooster tails, & smaller Krocadiles...

Hey Brian, (or anyone who can answer I guess )

Just wondering, when you say 'cocktail shrimp', do you actual mean the type of shrimp you buy at the grocery store? Or is this some Alaskan lure unknown to me? Ive never seen a charr, nor have I even seen a dolly so I would like to try this out tomorrow.

    Thanks

They are the little shrimp you put in salad. So I guess technically they are salad shrimp. Or you can buy a larger cocktail shrimp and cut it into little pieces.

Totally edible - taste like whatever you cook them in.

Here is about the average size of char you can expect from the stocked fish around town. Some larger, but this is the size when they put them in. A good excuse to get out, but don't expect much of a fight!
