    Default Hiking in Seward

I am taking the family down to Seward this weekend through next Thursday and we would love to do some hiking. Any info anyone has on some good trails in that area would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Dan

It kind of depends on how tough a trail you are looking for. The first part of Mt. Marathon is steep and crumbly and is not for the beginner. There is a mile or so of beach that can be hiked. Between the Homer/Soldatna turn-off and Seward there are many trails from easy to difficult, depending on what you are looking for.
"...and then Jack chopped down the beanstock, adding murder and ecological vandalism to the theft, enticement and vandalism charges already mentioned, but he got away with it and lived happily ever after without so much as a guilty twinge about what he had done. Which proves that you can be excused just about anything if you're a hero, because no one asks the inconvenient questions." Terry Pratchett's The Hogfather

We definitely enjoy a challenge. We have hiked our share of mts in the chugach and are looking to branch out a little. We might give that one a try. Thanks!
