    Default Homer Halibut

I know that Augustine and Barren Islands are starting to produce; is there any in the kelp beds as of late? I'd like to come down for a chicken run but don't want to waste my time if they aren't there yet. PM with info please. Thanks in advance.

There have been halibut in the bay, since our first trip in March. Just went this past weekend and found our limit 11 miles out from the spit. I personally think the chickens stick around all year, so if that's what you're targeting, then go for it.

Chickens do stick around.. When they get bigger they will migrate. You don't have to go far to get chickens.

Thumbs up They are there, Robb

Limit at Katchemak Bay, Monday. Had to launch out of Homer instead of Anchor Point or Deep Creek due to weather.
