    Default Anyone have or use the new single six?

    Just wondering if anyone has tried the new stainless single six out and what are your thoughts. I'm thinking of selling my .22 auto and going with a good revolver.

    Default SIngle six

    Hi there;
    Well, I had a Stainless one I bought new about 10 years back, I blasted a few parka squirrels over 50 yards out with it with iron sights ( All dug in and rested ). It certainly was a fine pistol. I see they have done more work on the design, but it looks good to me. Mine was all I could hold for, I never got technical with it to find out how good it was, but apparently it was better than I could hold for.
    Good luck,

    I bought one last fall. Its blued though, 4 5/8" barrel, fixed sights. Great gun. Trigger could be tuned a little better, but for a .22 I find it sufficient. Has been a very good shooter with a variety of ammo. I like it so much, that I have been on a quest to find a Vaquero in the same scale to keep it company. I think SW had them on sale for $299 for a while. Just a great plinking/hunting/camping/fun gun.
