Question black bear hunt around delta junction

Im a newby in this neck of the woods and would like some tips for spot and stalk hunting black bears around delta junction if it is even possible not sure were to even start, seen plenty of grizzs tracks but where do the blacks hang out? Have been told to look up the gerstle river draw, and some of the other draws around the granites is this even remotely true?

60 degrees in fairbanks the other day i would start glassing now unless someone else with more experiance chimes in. to get to any steeper country it looks as though you will need a skinny water machine. couple areas braid out pretty well. airboat country possibly?
