Default Moose / Upper Deshka float

Hello. We are planning on floating Moose and upper Deshka on Memorial day weekend. Any hints on what to expect ...trout, what type of flies, bears? We are doing the 40-mile float down to Neil lake starting Saturday morning. can we make that trip in 2.5-days? Whats it like?

Any and all info would be great!

    Thanks in advance.

    Default Sorry

Missed the fact that you mentioned the Moose.

I know Bob Jewitt (local outfitter) has floated it. You may want to give him a call. Google his name and you should be able to come up with his website.

I guess I might see you on the water. I will be floating that weekend too. I was told to expect trout and grayling in the upper waters, pike and burbot in the middle, and kings near the mouth. Bears should be plentiful, most of the deshka is under predator control.
It ain't about the # of pounds of meat we bring back, nor about how much we spent to go do it. Its about seeing what no one else sees.
