Thread: New gun store

    Default New gun store

I just stopped in the new gun store next to wiggys alaska. Picked up a good deal on bullets for reloading. He has some really nice custom hunting rifles. He has one that weighs just over 4 lbs. If you haven't been there you should check it out.

Steve worked on my XLR and did a fantastic job. I saw that same rifle, Remington 700 in 7mm-08 lightened up for sheep hunting, it was so light I almost dropped it! It's probably not a good thing for me now that he has opened up his shop so close to Wiggys....

Is there nothing so sacred on this earth that you aren't willing to kill or die for?

I went in there. Thier stuff looked pretty good and thier prices weren't bad either. I think I will try them out with some minor stuff I wanted done to my 9.3 scout. new NECG barrel band front sight and a taller peep made for the battle sights on the P17 enfield.

    Default Cerokote

A little off topic, but the best application of CERAKOTE I've seen was done by a gunsmith in Wasilla named Kevin White of Precision Custom Rifles. His number is 360-1694. The price is good too.

basically its on the eastern side of old seward but just north of dimond. Look for a little strip mall with a papa johns pizza (I believe thats the name of the place). its also right next to a gas station with a carwash.
