    Default Lh/rh?

Thinking of getting back into bow hunting...

problem is I'm not sure whether to get a LH bow or RH bow...

I'm left eye dominant, right-handed, and shoot a left-action firearm.
I used to shoot a RH bow when I was a kid, although if I start again now, it will be with all intentions of bow hunting inthe near future...

...so needless to say, I would like to train myself for accuracy and proficiency without spending money on the wrong sided bow...

    any advice?

Left eye dominant...shoot a left handed bow. It's really the best way, especially since you already shoot LH rifles.

I shot lefty and I'm right eye dominate. I would make the switch, but I shoot good this way. For some it really helps.

hey that makes two of us

I am right handed but left eye domenenc and always shot right
handed bows and i have tried pulling left handed bows but it feels so weird and i can only pull half weight.
I am currently training myself to shoot both eyes open but sumtimes that left eye over powers right and a big miss happens

but still i have noteced big improvement atrange out to 65 yards with two eyes open

    Default Here too

I am right handed and left eye dominiate. I have always shot a left handed bow. I shot right when I was a teen but could not hit the lawn.

Now I doubt I could go back. And I do shoot with both eyes open.

    Default thanks

    thanks for the advice, guys...

just shot afew arrows thru a RH bow tonight at a friends house... had a good grouping at 20 yrds but I think I need to try a LH bow for awhile... more outta curiosity than anything...

I still remember the first time my father got me to shoot his .22 left handed when I was a kid... such a huge revelation in accuracy and consistency!

I, too, have always shot with both eyes open, but now I think I need to make the switch if I'm gonna get serious about bow hunting...
