    Default Simple Question

Can anyone tell me what the law is regarding transport (in a boat) of a firearm in PWS while Black Bear hunting. Does the rifle have to be unloaded and cased? Unloaded and not cased? uncased with ammo in the magazine? Loaded (ammo in the magazine and chamber)?

I know that in 6D that you can not shoot from a boat (must be on the shore), but I can not find clear regulations on whether or not the gun must be unloaded and cased while in the boat.

    Best Regards.

RCS Hunter, IMHO, this is a question that you should ask the AK fish and game directly, and get a reference.

    Default None

This is not the lower 48. There are no restrictions on how your firearm needs to be. Case, no case, loaded, unloaded. As long as you do not shoot at a bear you have no problem.

    Default agree with Dave...

No reg requirement. Persoanl choice though..... last year we all agreed to leave our guns cased with ammo readily accessible. Didn't keep anyone from getting into the dingy in a timely manner if we needed to get off the boat for a stalk.
