    Default Late Season Mushing Pics

Been meaning to get some mushing pics up. Went for a run yesterday afternoon up a small side creek across the river from us. Was 47 degrees when I got home, well above freezing all day. Been overcast and snowy here for the past week and more, lousy for taking pictures, but here are a few.

Pic of yours truly in a large open area near base of mountains where we turned around, looking back down the creek

Heading back down the creek, glad to have some running water to cool the dogs off. All this area burned in 2004 and 2005, amazing how bare of snow the west-facing slopes are.

Cool pics, but the first one doesn't come up, just a red "x" in a box.

I'm getting them all. Very cool. We have had some major melting today.

    Default nice

You look like you were having more fun than the rest of us. Thanks for sharing your pics. I would have thought that the ice was too thin especially with the temps that you were reporting Stay safe and have fun.

I'm starting to dislike city life.
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed
