    Post Spring Caribou

I'm looking for someone that has recently hunting Caribou off the Dalton this spring for a few questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Default Thanks

Thank you everyone who sent messages and offered advice. My buddy and I drove up Friday, skied out 6 miles and made camp between two groups of 50-100 animals. Woke up in the morning and killed two around 10am. Made it back to town at seven this morning.

Went East of Toolik Lake, thanks for the tip. There were Caribou all over for about about 1.5-2 miles out then hit a dead spot until we got out to about 6 at the base of the hills you can see to the East of the Road. Saw to big herds, picked the closer of the two and crawled on our stomaches for about an hour until we got close enough. I'll post some pictures when I'm home from work...oops.
