I like Denali Seed Polar Star and the Polar Beauty the best of anything I have tried. They are not huge, but they are plentiful and just keep producing. The Star can be grown in a 1 1/2 gallon pot and if I have more than my greenhouse will hold I just stick them in cans and grow them in the window and they do quite well.

    Good luck,

ya you folks down there in Anchorage have a much longer growing season than those of us in the Interior, and I am even farther north than Fairbanks. Might get hotter here, but we do have less growing days by about 2 weeks on either side.

Everyone had their own favorite. Try out a few varieties and see what grows best in your neighborhood.

We are still zero at night here and we getting a bit of snow last few days too and not much melting....Ah, sometime soon the days will get warm, the river will breakup, the grass will grow and it will be time to plant the garden.
    Good luck to you too!

    I think I'll follow G'ma Lori's suggestions.

The best varieties I've found for greenhuse are BOA and COBRA they work well. Seed is spendy though. AND, plants won't be available at the local plant shop.
