Talking It just keeps getting better! (More pics added)

I could add these pics to my thread from yesterday on Harp Mountain (since we were in the same general vicinity), but it was such a spectacular day that I thought it deserved its own photo essay.

We climbed up the same ridgeline, but when we saw another pair ahead of us that decided to climb right up the middle of the face we skied yesterday, we turned right instead of left about 200' from the summit. We traced a new track around the summit to this ridgeline overlooking Eagle River far below.

I left my ski partner there and continued on a little further so that we would each have our own unskied line and so we could take distant pictures of one another. (I don't have copies of his pics yet, but will post a couple when I get them.) You can see him as a tiny speck on the ridgeline in this picture.

Here is one of the view from where I started my decent.

Here are the first set of tracks that I laid down. Man, the conditions were spectacular! The sun was shining and the snow was soft.

From my first stop, I took this picture of my friend across the bowl.

    Another one:

These next two are two of my favorite skiing shots that I've taken.

Near the bottom of the bowl:

This last picture sums up the day nicely. We just couldn't stop laughing because it was so, so perfect. Sunny, warm, nice snow, great visibility, and just downright fun!

    Thanks, pirate. It was great!

Here are a few more pics. My friend took these of me. Though he didn't get any close-up shots, I like the scale - particularly in the 3rd shot right after I started my decent.

I'm the speck on the ridgeline in the distance.

    Starting my decent.

    A few more action shots.

Let's hope it stays cold for another week!

    Thumbs up Awesome shots Brian!

Temps were holding around 20-30 degrees all week and we had about 12 inches of fresh powder in the hills! Woke up to 35 degrees this morning but the sun is bright and there is fishing to be done! I hope you get a few more trips in!
