    Default Caribou Hunting in August

I am planning a trip in August for the Taylor Highway hunt. I will be using four wheelers for access. I have heard that there is alot of people who hunt them but I am still going. Does anyone have any info about any trails to take or where the Caribou might be? Thanks.

    Default finding trails

Just follow the other 3000 hunters on wheelers, they will show you the way

It might be a good idea to use hunter orange too! Good luck! Uh, most trails start around Chicken and beyond.

To paraphrase Yogi: No one hunts there anymore, it's too crowded.

Default just look for the walmart parking lot...

and follow the dust. You will find the other 5,000 people hunting for a 36 hour opening!
