Smile A big thanks to everyone

A BIG THANKS to everyone who stopped by my booth at the Sportsmans Show this weekend. It was great to put a face with all the names on this site and great just to meet all the other folks out there who are interested in shrimping and my gear. I'm still beat from talking to all the people at that show and now have to restock, build pots for orders taken at the show and get ready for the Fairbanks show in a couple of weeks. Just another thanks for stopping by and thanks for the business from everyone. I'm heading for the only legal pot barn in the valley to build more gear .

Steve ~ It was good talking to you on Sunday at the show. Have you got the new line in yet?

    Default PWS crab pots???

Steve...do you have any plans to get into the tanner/king crab pot business with the new PWS fishery? There was a thread active over the weekend where I posted a little info about the details, but I think the exact pot specifications aren't yet finalized.

I'll build'em if the fishery turns into anything good, it might just be a one time thing?? I'd have to see the regs on pots & then figure out how to build some & order materials. I'm sure i won't build any this year but i'm already thinking about a combo shrimp/crab pot .

Not this year but maybe some next year, lets see how this crab business shakes out this year. I will say that my folding pots do catch tanners & thats from a customer who has some & sent me pictures of the crab he caught(& released).

Hope for the best with this up coming crab season. Let just hope it's not a one and done thing.
