Default Please help identify .44mag round

    Hello,
I purchased these rounds about 7 years ago from guns down under and I am not sure as to who made them or what the grain size might be. I do remember they are made for bears (305grain??)solid lead with jackets. Stamped on the bottom are w-w super .44 rem mag. I think they were made in AK, but not sure. I think they were the hottest a 629 s&w backpacker could safely handle. Anyone know what these are? Thanks.

Well the head stamp is Winchester-Western Super 44 mag. I don't think WW loaded a 305 grain bullet. Don't know of any jacketed 305 grain bullet. Might be 300 grain.
