    Default Mushing start

I would like to share these pictures of my first time mushing. Whoa. Alot of work trying to get them started, with no leader. Can't free run them no more, had a hard time catching one. So I finally go brave and got them harnessed and pulling, with help from my sisters. First two times were okay, until finally I got dragged about 100 feet. Was funny actually. Still need alot of work, with 5 dogs is a good start. I lost one from being sick, when she was less they a yr. old. Still makes me sad.

This one is blurry. They sure love to run.

This is of my Nephew and Niece.

    Fixing after a mix up.

My Niece and I having fun.

My little helper, and she sure enjoys going and trying to help.

And finally, hopefully this is what they will end up doing, pulling and working together. Still need alot of training but working until 7:30pm is not helping any.

I am planning on adding more in the near future, by then I am hoping they are well trained. row

    Any suggestions, dos or don'ts.

Yippiii! I'm so happy and excited you got them started. Can you borrow a leader or two from anyone to help train some of yours as leaders? Can't wait to see more.

TY, It would be a good idea to borrow someones leader, haven't really asked around to borrow a leader. Seems everyone has their own thing going. Right now the one I have leading is doing a good job, tried another one, she did a good job until she got bored and turned around and bothered the other dogs.
Just seems right with this one I got leading.

On Sunday there is a dog race for the kids, the sad thing is I can't make it due to work. Sad excuse, but I need to open and close all week starting tomarrow.
I hate to see winter go.

Very cool. Looks like you're off to a good start.
