Default Talachulitna vs. Lake Creek (early July)

Which one would pick for a week long fly-in float trip?

the first I think 10-20 miles of the tal is very small and you have to drag in most waters. There is a small rapid called hells gate a few miles up from the mouth, its not bad but scout it before you run it.
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.

Any possibility of getting a fresh king in the Tal at that time? How is it for Dolly Varden? Any recommendations for fly in service?

    Thanks,
    Mike

the peak of the king run on the tal is around June 15, by july most of the kings are pretty red.
