Default New fishing challenges for Rick P

I just got a 18 1/2 foot power boat and I'm looking forward to a whole new fishing chapter. My salt water experience is limited too a few rock fish and a halibut I got lucky with from a kayak and catching dollies in the surf. Inland I'm a kinda die hard stream and river fly fishermen, in fact some of my freinds are very concerned the world may be ending because I got anything with a motor, this is going to be fun!

Let me know if you need a 'mate' this summer. If you launch on the KP I can meet you there. I'll bring the food/beverages.

    You mean it has character.

I'll put up some pics soon.

Bushpilot ya miles and miles of character! Actually the more I start tearing it apart the more impressed I am with it, the thing is a tank! Give me a call if you'd like to see it this weekend and have the beer I was too busy for.(sorry)

Your not really suggesting I run a 75 horse motor up one of the parks hwy streams are you? Never mind that it's a deep V and draws more water than willow had in it all year last year! Thanks for the thought though, I think I'll stick to the canoe for water that skinny.

no I'm suggesting dropping the boat in a big lake / river / ocean and motoring to a stream then hiking a bit.
