My Browning will keep180 Gr Rem Corelok’s under ¾ of an inch for a 3 shot group. The Coreloks worked great on the caribou and black bear that I took this year. I have not turned them on moose or brownies but I would not hesitate to if given the opportunity.

    Default 300 WM Loads

I worked up some loads for my buddies 300WM useing 200 grain Nosler and Swift A-Frames. I had the good results with Rl22, IMR4831 and H4831SC, with the nod going to Rl22 in his gun. In the past I've gotten my best results with an old lot of H4831. I usually use Winchester brass with Fed 215M primers and seat the bullets 10 thousands off the lands. The Winchester brass is a bit thinner and holds more powder. With the 200 grain bullets I usually end up with the case capacity near max. All three powders performed good at or near book max for me. As always start at least 5% below max and work your way up. I think the 300WM really shines with the 200 grain bullets, it's become my favorite. I would like to look at the new plastic tipped bonded offerings from Nosler, Swift, etc. if I get the chance.

    Default factory or reload

Are you looking for factory ammo or reload data? If factory, buy several brands and find out which that rifle likes best. Each rifle shoot different brands to different degrees of accuracy. personally I prefer Hornady factory ammo and have not found a rifle that doesn't shoot consistantly with it. In the 300 WM I would opt for a 180 grain for everything but Brown Bears and would up to 200 or 220 grain for the big BB. If you plan on reloading, the same applies, try several different brands and get a good reloading manual and work several loads to find the most accurate.
Good luck, there is something out there that your rifle will shoot best, you just have to experiment.

I have been playing around with a 26 inch barreled remington M-700 CXR Tactical rifle in 300 Winchester Magnum. So far nothing outstanding about this over priced rifle.
Using RL-22 I pushed a 200 grain Sierra boat-tail to an average of 2,899 fps.
Using IMR 7828 I pushed the same 200 grain bullet to an average of 2,850fps using 73.5 grains and a federal 215M primer.

Yesterday I used IMR 4350 to push a 180 grain Nosler accubond to an average of 3,150fps.
and a bunch of 168 grain Speer Boat Tails to 3,240 fps using imr 4350.
    I did obtain a 0.55 inch group with the 168 grain boat-tails.

Check out the Reloaders Nest web site for various loads. But remember some of those folks are nuts with their high pressure laods.

Winchester Supreme CXP3's, 180g factory loads, just can't go wrong with those.
The emphasis is on accuracy, not power!

I am also a fan of the Winchester Supreme Elite XP3 180 gr. It is accurate and holds together very well, even at close range. I have used it on brown bears, moose, goat and caribou and it works good.

    I got 2937 fps with the 200 partition and 73 grains H4831 and 3150 with a 180 barnes X boattail with 72 grains IMR-4350.

I shot a couple deer on kodiak with 73 grains H4831 and the 200TSX at 2900+.
