    Default Polar bear....in Ft Yukon????

Hunters in Fort Yukon appear to have shot a polar bear, according to the Anchorage Daily News. While it's normal for polar bears to spend time on land in Alaska, for one to be so far from the Arctic Ocean seems quite unusual.
At the closest, Fort Yukon is about 235 miles (Google Earth) from the ocean.

Anyone else know of polar bears so far from big water?

Good thing that guy didn't stumble. I'm sure that bear was thinking, mmmmmmmmm, lunch.

    Default Darwin Award?

Ok... So I have done some things in my life that I can laugh about now but at the time thought were pretty dang stupid.

What in the world was this guy doing/thinking...and what was the end result? The last pic looks like that bear was gaining on him fast!

    Default WOW

I bet that has to change his underwear for the next week. That bear looked very interested in that last Picture. I also wonder what the guys was thinking. I guess getting in the bronco and starting it up was not on his mind!!

Great picts / who took them
