    Default 38# lynx rug

A couple of new additions to the family.First is my big lynx caught three seasons ago. Some of the story behind this catch is interesting. It is one of three caught at the same location. I had taken a couple of aprentace's out to show how I set for cats in the begining of the season, and after the first check of the season we were pleased to find a nice tom at the first cubby set that we all took part in constructing. One of the partner's was very excited and it seemed fitting to let him have the cat. The next week(check) we hear the same chain rattling with yet another BIGGER lynx, appprox 30#'s. One of the biggest we/I have ever caught. It was obvious that the one and only akcajun was to take possession of this one by the look in his eyes. At first it was hard for me to give the big tom away but something inside told me that as crazy at it sounds it wasn't going to be the last big tom we would catch. Now with the third week/check under way we checked the first set again with high expectations to find a this 38#er, my biggest to date.

Kharma cat. That's what you receive when you are nice to other trappers
