    Default East/West Papoose Lake

Has anyone ever fished East/West Papoose Lake in the little su watershed? What species were there? How did you access it? What are the summer road conditions to the west lake? Is the shore public or private property? How deep is this lake? Thanks and have a great day.
It ain't about the # of pounds of meat we bring back, nor about how much we spent to go do it. Its about seeing what no one else sees.

Realy, Nothing I would think someone here would know something about this lake.

Don't know. I've snowmachined there but have never been there in the summer to fish. I though someone on here would have ice fished here or know someone with a cabin.

This is what I found out from fish and game:

Our older files show that the (south) Papoose Lake has native Rainbows, silver salmon, long nose suckers, and stickleback. Looks like (north) Papoose Lake has the same species with little or low abundance of rainbows. A note in the file says no access and as of 1965 the lake is called East Papoose. Pretty shallow at 5-10 feet. If you catch a pike there, please give us a call at 746-6300.
