    Default Jim Creek/Knik Glacier

    I have been reading the threads of folks making it to the glacier. Thought I give it a try today. Sure wish I had taken more camera gear! May have to do'er again. 48.5 miles round trip on 2.52 gallons of gas. Not too bad for a 700 Grizz. Granted, most of the way was in 2WD.

    Every time I go it is not that nice of weather when I get there, I wish it was. I would like to get some better pics.

    These are from two weekends ago;

    Where were you at on the glacier? I do not recognize that ice, unless you have a great deal more zoom than I do.
