Default looking for unique pistol, need to know

I saw a guy shooting this double barrel pistol, I believe the upper barrel was 45 cal and the lower a shotgun barrel. I think he said it was invented in india for repelling tigers. his was a modern reproduction though

    Default howda pistols

Here's another howda pistol in .62 and they're working on a flintlock.

That one has had my attention for quite a whle OTR. 62 cal is 20 gauge for frame of reference. If I could hang on, it's fun to contemplate what a handful of 32 cal balls or a single 62 cal ball would do coming out of each of those barrels!

    Default temptation

The one tempting me is: ttp://www.middlesexvillagetrading.com/PDBF.SHTML

I have one of their steel blunderbusses (blunderbi?) and with a little work it is a really nice and fun to shoot.

Not enough reenacting up here to justify more blackpowder toys easily.

I just noticed that Dixie Gun Works has a kit for a 20 ga double pistol. Not cheap by any means, but maybe you get what you pay for in this case.
