    Default Iditarod Trail

Do people use this much in the summer? I would be intrested in trying to ride the Iditarod on my ATV and see how fast I could do it, kinda like a norther version of the Baja 1000, only no dust and not as hot! Just wondering, thanks.

Might be somewhat of a problem crossing the rivers and creeks that the trail crosses.

if they are too deep or too wide then that could cause a problem for sure. Thanks for the reply!!

Almost impossible even with the best 4 wheeler. There is open bog in most areas even one mile from Knik and don't forget, one huge river about 20 miles up the trail.

    Default Yukon

Crossing and traveling up or down the Yukon on an ATV might be a little bit of a problem too. People do snow machine, snowshoe, ski, walk and bike the trail after the race.
